Why Mithun Chakraborty’s Remarks Sparked Political Row in West Bengal

Addressing party workers, Chakraborty said that if Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee returns to power, “Hindus may be forced to leave the state,” a statement that quickly drew attention and criticism.
