Focus on sports infrastructure, athlete accommodation and overall readiness of Team Meghalaya
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma chaired a review meeting with the Sports Department to assess the state’s preparations for the upcoming National Games 2027.
During the meeting, discussions were held on key areas including the development of sports infrastructure, arrangements for athlete accommodation, and the overall preparedness of Team Meghalaya.
The Chief Minister stated that efforts are underway to ensure the state is fully ready to host the event.
He emphasised the importance of proper planning and coordination to deliver a successful and memorable National Games.Officials also reviewed ongoing work and progress, highlighting the government’s commitment to strengthening sports facilities and supporting athletes across the state.
