
Shillong, 11, April : The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, on Saturday honoured 41 students with disabilities who successfully passed the SSLC 2026 examination.The students are from different parts of the Khasi and Jaintia Hills. The programme was organised by the State Social Welfare Department.The event was also attended by Education Minister Bah Lahkmen Rymbui, along with officials and invited guests.
Speaking at the event, Conrad Sangma praised the students for their strength and determination.
“Since Friday, we have been honouring achievers, and today we again celebrate your success and courage,” he said.
He added that the students have shown that challenges can be overcome with hard work and confidence.
The Chief Minister also shared a few important announcements. Encourage students to continue working hard and stay determined in their journey ahead. Cash awards also were given to support their education.
Promised of future scholarship .The Chief Minister’s Secretariat will support them during their Higher Secondary studies.
