Statements will be recorded from October 5 to October 9, between 10 am and 4 pm, at Room No. 108, DC Office, Nongstoin. The committee has also said the identities of candidate-witnesses and their testimonies will be kept strictly confidential to protect them from victimisation or harassment.
The two-member panel comprises Evanmi Lyngdoh, MCS, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate, West Khasi Hills, and Herbert Kharkongor, MPS, Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills.
