SHILLONG — For students in West Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills, the cost of preparing for NEET can be another hurdle before the examination even begins. An initiative in Selsella is now offering 50 students a chance to prepare without paying for coaching.
The All Selsella NGOs’ Alliance (ASNA), comprising GSU, FKJGP, ASWA, ADE, ANYO and NGCO, will organise free NEET coaching for eligible students from the two districts. The 50 students will be selected through an entrance examination scheduled for November 2, 2026, at 10:07 AM at Selsella Government U.P. School.
Applicants must have passed Class XII in the Science stream, secured at least 40% marks and belong to either West Garo Hills or South West Garo Hills. They must also be preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
Students interested in appearing for the selection test have to submit their details by October 30. Applications can be sent to selsella.ngos@gmail.com. Further enquiries can be made at 9863040213.
The programme is aimed at giving deserving NEET aspirants academic guidance and structured preparation for medical entrance examinations.
