Wailadmiki Shylla MLA Jowai | Minister

Shillong,Aprl 21 : Meghalaya cabinet minister Wailadmiki Shylla has questioned the timing of the Voice of the People Party’s (VPP) upcoming protest, saying earlier issues raised by the party are still unresolved.

Speaking at a press conference, Shylla said the reservation policy issue taken up earlier is “going nowhere” and has not reached a conclusion.

He said the public is now more aware and will raise questions. “Public is wise now,” he remarked, adding that people will ask why a new protest is being launched when previous demands remain unsettled.
