Shillong, April 18: The much-anticipated Shillong concert of the German rock band Scorpions has been cancelled, following the announcement that their entire “Coming Home” India Tour will no longer take place.
The band was scheduled to perform in Shillong on April 21, marking one of the most awaited live music events in the region. However, organisers have confirmed that the tour, which also included stops in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai, has been cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting members of the band.
The announcement has come as a disappointment to fans across the country, particularly in Shillong, where the concert was expected to draw a large audience and generate significant excitement among music enthusiasts.
Organisers have stated that all tickets purchased through BookMyShow will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 working days.
Fans have been advised to check their original mode of payment for updates regarding the refund process.Despite the cancellation, the band has expressed interest in performing in India in the future, depending on their schedule and recovery.
